Had Nes
Had Nes () is an Israeli settlement organized as a communal settlement, in the Golan Regional Council. The village is adjacent to the Jordan River. Had Nes was founded in 1989, when the area had already been unilaterally annexed by Israel, via the 1981 Golan Heights Law. It was named after 3 settlements, Holit, Dekla and Neot Sinai, evacuated from the Sinai Peninsula as a result of the Israel-Egypt Peace Treaty in 1979.〔http://www.golan.org.il/556/427.htm〕 The international community considers Israeli settlements in the Golan Heights illegal under international law, but the Israeli government disputes this. ==See also==
